With over a decade of experience in Human Resources and coaching with strong expertise in Back to Work planning – she helps her clients launch businesses, negotiate great salaries and create meaningful careers.As an HR and Back to Work expert, Allison has worked with companies ranging from 5 – 10 000 employees in industries ranging from – consumer packaged goods, marketing, banking, tech, startups, engineering, non profit, health care and government.
When not coaching, Allison is the mom to 3 little boys, a hard core Star Wars Fan and winter biker. She spends the rest of her time reheating her coffee and strategizing how to win every game she plays of Settlers of Catan.
Colette has over 15 years of communications and event management experience having worked with leading entertainment and lifestyle brands including Entertainment Tonight Canada and the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). As Executive Director of Vancouver’s Projecting Change Film Festival, Colette curated issue-based films and speakers for the four-day TED Talk-style event. Bringing together cause organizations, artists, media and influencers, PCFF offered a unique space to connect and explore solutions to some of today’s most pressing issues.
Passionate about inspiring and connecting people through curated events, Colette has organized film launches and speaker series across North America. She was also part of the core group of women who launched Fail Forward 2014, Canada’s first ever conference focused on failing well. Originally from Vancouver, Colette holds an honours degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University and currently resides in Toronto with her husband and two young children.
